Webinar Details

Biospecific interactions play a major role in fundamental biological processes, and the advent of label-free detection tools has greatly enhanced our ability to characterize and better understand these biological systems.

Yet, our ability to automate and scale our efforts has been limited by the need for a hands-on approach when it comes to understanding and optimizing the underlying biology.

During this webinar, we will present the many ways we are infusing automation into the user journey to fundamentally transform how scientists perceive and analyze binding interactions.

You will explore how digital microfluidics, label-free binding techniques, software, and hardware technologies integrate into the Nicosystem – a digitally transformed and automated discovery platform for researchers seeking answers regarding binding events.

Soleil Grisé

Senior Product Manager, Nicoya

As Senior Product Manager, Soleil supports the development of innovative surface plasmon resonance (SPR) platforms at Nicoya. Having pursued a BSc from the University of Waterloo and CFA level 1, she combines her interests in the life sciences and finance with her passion for technology adoption to drive innovation in scientific research. By leveraging her diverse background, Soleil is able to bring a comprehensive perspective as she works with leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations to understand their biggest research problems and deliver strategic solutions.

Adam Miles

Senior Software Product Manager, Nicoya

As Senior Software Product Manager, Adam is responsible for building experimental frameworks and code which run on Nicoya’s Alto – the world’s first digital high-throughput benchtop SPR system, powered by digital microfluidics. With over 15 years of optical biosensors experience, coupled with a Bachelors of Science Engineering in Biomaterials Engineering and Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Utah; Adam is an expert at solving problems through software architecture and excellent product design.
